IK Multimedia ARC Studio Plus
The IK Multimedia ARC Studio Plus is a standalone hardware room correction processor that sits between your audio source and your studio monitors, removing the acoustic fingerprint of your room before sound reaches your ears. It uses the included ARC measurement microphone to calibrate your monitors and subwoofer directly from the front panel, with no DAW or computer required for basic setup. For deeper analysis, ARC X software unlocks multi-point 3D room measurement and target-curve editing, while three programmable Scene buttons recall full configurations instantly.
- Standalone hardware correction with 32-bit audio conversion and 120 dB(A) dynamic range for transparent monitoring
- Integrated subwoofer management auto-aligns gain, crossover, phase, and delay with any brand of sub
- USB-C, optical S/PDIF, and balanced XLR/TRS I/O fit analog, digital, or hybrid studio setups
- Three instant-recall Scenes store complete calibration profiles, routing, and subwoofer state
Hardware Room Correction for Honest Monitoring
The IK Multimedia ARC Studio Plus is a standalone hardware processor that measures your room, monitors, and subwoofer, then corrects the entire monitoring chain in real time. It sits between your audio source and speakers, so every session sounds the way it should — without a plug-in in your signal path. The included ARC measurement microphone lets you calibrate from the front panel with no computer required.
What Sets the ARC Studio Plus Apart
Unlike plug-in room correction, this processor runs entirely in dedicated hardware, so correction stays active whether you are mixing, recording, mastering, or listening back. Integrated subwoofer management automatically detects a connected sub and aligns gain, crossover, phase, and delay during calibration. Three programmable Scene buttons store complete configurations for instant recall.
Audio Conversion and Signal Path
- Audio Conversion: 32-bit — mastering-grade precision
- Dynamic Range: 120 dB (A-weighted) — noise floor well below audibility
- THD (1 kHz @ -1 dBFS): 0.00011% (-119.4 dB) — inaudible harmonic distortion
Latency, Power, and Build
- Natural Phase Latency: 1.4 ms — negligible for tracking and mixing
- Power: 5 V DC, 3 A — supplied via included adapter
- Dimensions: 19.7 × 12.2 × 4.4 cm — compact desktop footprint
Connectivity and Calibration Workflow
Balanced XLR/TRS inputs, balanced XLR monitor outputs, a dedicated subwoofer output, USB-C, and optical S/PDIF let the unit fit analog, digital, or hybrid setups. Calibration runs as a 1- or 3-point measurement from the hardware, or as a 7- or 21-point 3D analysis via ARC X.
- Analog I/O: Balanced combo XLR/TRS in, balanced XLR monitor out, dedicated subwoofer out — full 2.1 routing
- Digital I/O: USB-C and optical S/PDIF — keeps the signal path in the digital domain
- Calibration Modes: 1- or 3-point (hardware), 7- or 21-point 3D (ARC X)
